Recipe Tips
-
tip 1
Have other fruit or berries on hand? Feel free to add them to this recipe for Blueberry Cobbler, so long as the total volume of fruit remains the same.
-
tip 2
Fresh blueberries are in-season between May and August. If you don’t have fresh blueberries, try using frozen for this Blueberry Cobbler.
-
tip 3
Crisp? Cobbler? Crumble? All of these desserts are made with fresh fruit and a crisp topping. Crisps and crumbles are the closest relatives, as both are made with a streusel-like topping that’s layered over fruit and baked. Some argue that a crisp should include a whole grain, such as oats, in the topping, but the terms are often used interchangeably. A cobbler tops fruit with biscuits, giving it a cobbled appearance.

tip 4
In this easy Blueberry Cobbler with Bisquick™ Original Pancake & Baking Mix recipe, the blueberries are added last, but as it bakes, the biscuit dough will rise toward the top of the dish.
